  5. What a delicious looking lunch and so colourful and perfumed with basil! It's true that we eat with our eyes and sense of smell before we open our mouths!
    Presentation is everything in food preparation and your dish looks just wonderful!

  6. I love basil, I love the smell of it, but funny, I've never grown it. The family love pesto, so we would get through lawns worth of it.

    1. Basil is my absolute favourite herb - I planted somewhere between 12 and 16 plants this year. Who needs lettuce? :)
